- Shape
Cut the nails using a nail clipper. Leave a couple of millimeters of nail at the tips.Shape with an emery board into a square-shaped nail with softly rounded corners. - Soak
Take a large bowl of warm water. Add 2 spoons of salt, juice of one lime and 2 spoons of shampoo.Soak your feet for 10 minutes to soften dead skin. Dry your feet thoroughly. - Smooth
Using pumice stone work in circular motions, exfoliating the heels, toes and balls of the feet.Using a damp towel, wipe away any excess skin.Moisturize with a nourishing cream.If your heels are cracked apply a crack cream and wear socks the night before your pedicure. - Push back cuticles
Apply a cuticle cream, which helps loosen the cuticle so that it easily slides away from the nail.Gently push back the cuticles with a cuticle trimmer and pusher. - Polish
Clean any excess lotion from the nails with a non-acetone polish remover.Separate toes with a folded tissue.Then apply a base coat.Wait about five minutes then apply another coat.
